Club Membership Growth In-Person Workshop. Highly interactive and collaborative. *Training will be in English. Organized by Division B for all interested. Create the experience that makes people want to return, join, participate, and stay. Every prospective member is silently asking: “Is Toastmasters right for me?” “Will I feel welcome?” “Will someone help me get started?” “Can I succeed here?” The Persona Experience Journey Map helps clubs create a confident “yes” at every stage—from community outreach and the first guest visit to member sign-up and delivery of the Icebreaker Speech. During this hands-on workshop, club officers and members will experience the journey through the eyes of a prospective member, identify the moments that matter most, uncover barriers that cause people to disengage, and design practical improvements. Participants will leave with a club-specific action plan, named owners, target dates, and measures for increasing guest return, member sign-up, Icebreaker completion, and early member retention. People may discover Toastmasters because they want greater confidence. They return because they feel welcomed. They join because they see a clear path forward. They stay because they experience progress, belonging, and the satisfaction of contributing. Let’s grow our clubs by creating a thriving toastmaster experience —from first contact to first speech.
